Admissions Policy for Technical College
System of Georgia
There are 25 technical colleges located throughout the state of
Georgia offering a variety of associate degree, diploma programs,
and technical certificates of credit. In addition, the Technical
College System of Georgia offers programs in adult education,

Eligible Applicants
Any individual 16 years of age or older who seeks access to
quality instruction designed to develop or improve occupational
competencies is eligible for admission.
Academic Criteria
A GED or high school diploma will be required for admission to the
technical college unless specified by the program's standards or a
Board-approved program proposal. Admission to a college does not
imply admission to all programs of study as selected programs may
have limited enrollment or higher admissions criteria.
