HOPE Scholarship and Zell Miller Scholarship Expiration of Eligibility Date
Students are eligible to receive the HOPE Scholarship and/or Zell Miller Scholarship until seven years from the date of the student's high school graduation, home study completion, or successful GED test, if the student meets all other requirements.
The expiration of eligibility date will be June 30th of the seventh academic year following the student's date of high school graduation, home study completion, or successful GED test.
However, students that served on active duty in the U.S. Military after his or her date of high school graduation, home study completion, or successful GED test and before the calculated expiration of eligibility date may request an extension of eligibility based on such active duty service time.
