Zell Miller Scholarship Program

A student who graduated from an eligible high school or completed a home study program and who first entered an eligible postsecondary institution between 2007 and 2010 may be eligible to become a Zell Miller Scholar. To qualify, a student must:

  • Have graduated from an eligible high school or completed an eligible home study program with a 3.7 Zell Miller GPA and earned a minimum combined score of 1200 on the math and reading portions of the SAT, in a single administration of the test or a minimum composite score of 26 on the ACT, in a single administration of the test, prior to high school graduation or home study completion, or
  • Have been named the valedictorian or salutatorian by his or her eligible high school, or
  • Have completed an ineligible home study program and received a minimum combined score of 1200 on the math and reading portions of the SAT, in a single administration of the test or a minimum composite score of 26 on the ACT, in a single administration of the test, prior to the date of home study completion and earned a cumulative 3.3 college GPA after attempting 30 semester or 45 quarter hours of degree-level coursework; and
  • Meet all other Zell Miller Scholarship eligibility requirements.
GSFC may not be aware of your eligibility. If you are certain that you met both the HOPE GPA requirement and the ACT or SAT score requirement at the time you graduated high school, please complete the "Request for Review of Zell Miller Scholar Status" form PDF - icon and return it to:
