Care should be taken to answer each question completely and accurately as these responses determine your residency status and tuition rate. Applicants who leave the residency questions blank will be charged the current out-of-state tuition rates. If you have difficulty interpreting a question on the online application, please contact a GHC representative before final submission of your application.
All applicants accepted for admission or readmission to Georgia Highlands who seek to be classified as in-state for tuition purposes, will be required to provide validation of residency and lawful presence in both the State of Georgia and the United States. Information about the documents required to satisfy this requirement may be found at www.highlands.edu/site/admissions-verifying-lawful-presence.
