APPLICATIONS FROM THIS SITE MAY ONLY BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY WITH THE APPLICATION FEE PAID THROUGH GEORGIA COLLEGE 411. SCREEN PRINTED APPLICATIONS FROM THIS SITE ARE NOT VALID FOR ADMISSION, AND WILL BE RETURNED TO THE APPLICANT.

Please fill out the online application as thoroughly as possible. Be sure to answer all items on the online application to assist in determining your admission and residency status. When you are finished, click the 'SUBMIT' button on the left column of any application screen. Applicants must pay a nonrefundable $20 application fee (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover).

Due dates for applications for each term are as follows:

Fall semester - July 1
Spring semester - November 1
Summer session - April 1

Applicants must submit official copies of their high school transcript and official copies of all college transcripts if applicable.

Applicants on immigrant or nonimmigrant visas and permanent resident aliens will have additional requirements for admission. Click on this link for more information.

Once submitted, an application is valid for three consecutive terms including the term of application.

Financial Aid Process

Applicants seeking financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) listing Georgia Perimeter College on the application (federal school code = 001562) by the financial aid deadline for the anticipated term of enrollment. Students who are applying for HOPE must complete the e-HOPE application at www.gsfc.org. Students wishing to receive federal financial aid must have submitted all documents for registration and be in a degree seeking admission category.

Registration Process

Prior to registration for classes, applicants will need to submit all final transcripts, immunization records, and program specific documents.

Verification of Lawful Presence

The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia now requires all applicants to USG institutions to provide proof of Lawful Presence in the United States in order to be classified as In-State for tuition purposes. This change is effective immediately for all applicants for Fall Semester 2011, and subsequent semesters. See policy below.*

You MUST prove lawful presence in the United States in ONE of the following ways before you can be admitted as an In-State student:

Your completed FAFSA for the 2011-2012 financial aid year. Lawful presence can be determined through this process. The Georgia Perimeter College school code for the FAFSA is 001562.
Your certified U.S. Birth Certificate showing that you were born in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
Only a notarized copy or a copy made by GPC staff is acceptable.
Your U.S. Certificate of Naturalization (USCIS form N‐550 or N‐570).
Only a notarized copy or a copy made by GPC staff is acceptable.
Your U.S. Certificate of Citizenship (USCIS form N‐560 or N‐561).
Only a notarized copy or a copy made by GPC staff is acceptable.
Your U.S. Certificate of Birth Abroad issued by the Department of State (DS‐1350) or a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (FS‐240).
Only a notarized copy or a copy made by GPC staff is acceptable.
Your current U.S. Passport.
Only a notarized copy or a copy made by GPC staff is acceptable.
Your current Driver's License issued by the State of Georgia after January 1, 2008
Your current ID issued by the State of Georgia after January 1, 2008.
Your Permanent Resident Alien card (USCIS form I-151 or I-551)
Only a notarized copy or a copy made by GPC staff is acceptable.


You can submit the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov or submit any one of the other documents listed above to a campus Enrollment and Registration Services office.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL DELAY YOUR ADMISSION TO THE COLLEGE AND REGISTRATION FOR CLASSES!

*BOR Policy 4.3.4: Each University System institution shall verify the lawful presence in the United States of every successfully admitted person applying for resident tuition status (in-state tuition), as defined in Section 7.3 of this Policy Manual.

To complete this online application, type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be reentered prior to submittal.
